This month Dr. Carlos Virgen Aguilar and a team of his students from the Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUC) in Puerto Vallarta will begin their work with the Punta de Mita Foundation's Smart Growth Committee on the research for the Smart Growth Report. This 16 week study will detail and analyze the social, environmental and economic needs for the communities of Punta de Mita, as well as give possible strategic solutions with the end-goal of achieving sustainable development in the region. This is a very exciting and one of a kind study that will be published in late November.

Starting at 7:00 PM attendees will be presented with an overview of the newly formed Foundation while being entertained and enjoying a cool cocktail.
