La Fundación Punta de Mita invita a Organizaciones de la Sociedad Civill,  profesionistas  y expertos en desarrollo social ha participar en la Convocatoria 2010-2011. 

Los proyectos que se apoyarán deberán contar con las siguientes caractéricas:

Población beneficiada deberá incluir las siguientes comunidades del Estado de Nayarit:  La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Nuevo Corral del Risco, Emiliano Zapata, Higuera Blanca, Sayulita y San Pancho.   Tendrán prioridad aquellos proyectos que beneficien a mas de una comunidad.

Se puede aplicar para las siguientes categorías hasta un monto máximo de $500,000 por categoría:

Desarrollo Económico.   

Mejora y cuidado del Medio Ambiente.

Prevención y atención a Emergencias.

Salud.

The Punta de Mita Foundation will be providing grants, to help leaders, organizations and non-profits help revitalize our communities and neighborhoods, protect our environment, and build brighter futures for our youth. Grant categories are the following:

Economic development

Risk Mitigation and Emergencies

Health

Envrionment

Each organization, learder or group will need to submit carefully prepared plans of action for each project detailing what it will entail, the benefits to the community and ongoing sustainability. Additionally, all grantees will need to be accountable for how they use the funds and will need to provide regular reporting on their progress and how funding has been allocated to the Foundation. Accountability is critical, not only for the Foundation but also for the donors so that they can see how their contributions have benefited the community.

If a group or non-profit organization is interested in obtaining funding from the Foundation, the following grant application form must be completed and signed. The granting cycles occur oncea year in July.
